Dr. Alex Tatevian is an
acupuncturist on staff at the Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island
with clinical privileges and full appointment granted.
Upon patient request and a written order in the medical chart by the patient's
attending physician, Dr. Tatevian provides independent acupuncture treatments.
Dr. Tatevian is a principal researcher conducting a clinical crossover trial at
the Women's Oncology Program, RI Women & Infants Hospital.
The study is investigating the efficacy of acupuncture as an adjunct for
alleviating the side effects associated with chemotherapy.
